Park your horse at the library

Back in April 2008, my mother and I went on what is becoming our annual vacation – this time to Pennsylvania Dutch Country.  We did the sights, drove the country roads, enjoyed a ponderous train ride on an old coach and, of course, visited a library.

Elanco Library is a charming two-room affair with many wide windows and fantastic organization.  The children’s department was down in the basement, also very organized.  In particular, I was a fan of the YA room –situated in a small corner of the upper floor but with such character. I have to say Elanco’s teen room is my YA favorite nook thus far.  Kudos to the Elanco staff for their efforts.

Also, the library parking included space for bikes, cars, and horses!
